Great Central Hotel
“Stayed at the Royal hotel for two nights while visiting parents in Girvan. A Spacious, cleane and comfortable room with everything you need tea coffee making facilities, large range of toiletries, TV etc. It was a clear morning with a lovely view of the Ailsa Craig. Delicious breakfast.”

Visit to Ayr
“Nice en suite room at the top of the hotel. There's not much to do in Girvan, the Chinese restaurant is nice with small portions though and the restaurant just outside of Girvan in a converted farm is a hidden gem. Otherwise, it's a good base for exploring Ayrshire. The cooked breakfast at the Royal Hotel was good too, with the sausages being very tasty. Great views of Ailsa Craig too.”

The Royal Hotel, Girvan
“My wife and I visited Girvan on Saturday 27th of October 2018. The room was spacious with stunning views to the west of Ails Craig and to the east over the hills. The en-suite bathroom was well stocked and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of coffee and tea available. Roddy,the barman and Paul the owner made us very welcome and the full Scottish breakfast on the Sunday morning was excellent.
I would definitely stay here again.”
